Tangkahan is sometimes mentioned as the HIDDEN PARADISE IN SUMATRA. It is definitely hidden and for many a paradise. It is the perfect place to get off the beaten track, but still have access to nice food and comfortable bungalows. Tangkahan is an interesting place in many ways. Interesting for what it has to offer and an interesting background. The elephants, the jungle, and the clean rivers are obvious attractions. What makes Tangkahan different is that it is a good example on how community based eco-tourism can stop illegal logging, improve livelihood, and develop a sense of pride amongst the locals. This development on the border of Leuser National Park where the bigger river Batang Serangan meets the smaller river Sungai Musam is the hidden paradise of Tangkahan.

Day 1:

MEDAN – BUKIT LAWANG (L,D)
Arrive at Kuala Namu airport, meet and greet by our representative tour guide then proceed for lunch at Local Restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Bukit Lawang. The tour will pass through the palm oil , cocoa, rubber, . Bukit Lawang is 90 km from Medan and its 4 hours journey .Check In Jungle Inn Resort, Dinner at Resort. Free Program, Overnight In Bukit Lawang.

BUKIT LAWANG – TANGKAHAN (B,L,D)
After breakfast, starting exhilarating white water rafting adventure through Gunung Leuser National Park, a journey down the spectacular and great fun filled rapids Wampu River. An exciting outdoor-experience into the beautiful wild and unspoiled North Sumatran rainforest with lowering gorges and a magnificent waterfall, trekking in Leuser Forest, Visit  orang hutan Park, Continue to Tangkahan. Dinner at Hotel. Free Program.Overnight In Tangkahan.

Day 3:

After breakfast, you can enjoy Fascinating Jungle area, You will have a very nice Swim in unspoiled river, sit on small beach full of butterflies and take a shower under the jungle waterfall, Lunch at Black Tiger Lodge ,then you can make an appointment with the elephant trainer to see the elephant bathing in the river and ride elephant, jungle trekking for  few hours. Then, continue journey to Medan ,Dinner at Local Restaurant. Free and Easy Programme. Overnight In Medan

Day 4:

MEDAN – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, Visit Maimoon Palace, Grand Mosque, Pasar Ikan, Batik Shop, Telekung Shop and Sun Plaza. Free and Easy till time transfer to the airport.
